The Morning Roundup 1/25/19

There were several basketball games last night in both college and the NBA along with exciting news as the MLB free agent market begins to finalize with some of the big names on the market still available. Let’s get down to business with your morning roundup.


The Golden State Warriors extended their winning streak to nine games as they topped the Washington Wizards on the road. Meanwhile, the LeBron-less Lakers continued their struggles as they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves at home.

There were two top 25 matchups with Michigan State handily defeating Iowa while Louisville upset NC State in a close game. The late game was a blowout of Santa Clara by Gonzaga who managed to score 53 points in the first half.
