The early game featured a four-overtime thriller that saw the Chicago Bulls defeat the Atlanta Hawks on the road despite a career night for rookie Trae Young who scored 49 points for the Hawks. The Boston Celtics got back to winning ways as they defeated the Washington Wizards at home. In the late game, the Milwaukee Bucks took down the Los Angeles Lakers on the road.
