The sports world was set alight yesterday as some of football’s biggest stars announced where they will be playing next season and as some of them will be donning new uniforms due to being a part of trades. Aside from that, the NBA was in action last night, as well as college hoops, baseball, and international soccer matches. That’s a lot to cover, so let’s get started. This is your morning roundup.

NFL Free Agency News

LB CJ Mosley is expected to sign a 5 year/$85 million contract with the Jets.

LB Terrell Suggs will sign a 1 year/$7 million deal with the Cardinals.

S Adrian Amos agrees to a 4 year/$37 million deal with the Packers.

LB Anthony Barr has decided to back out of a verbal deal with the Jets and will remain with the Vikings. He will sign a contract for 5 years, worth $67.5 million.

LB Jordan Hicks will join the Cardinals. He will sign a contract for 4 years, worth $36 million.

Long time Dolphin DE Cameron Wake will sign a 3 year/$23 million deal with the Titans.

The Kansas City Chiefs are trading LB Dee Ford to the San Francisco 49ers for their 2020 2nd-round draft pick. Ford will sign a contract extension with the 49ers for 5 years/$87.5 million.

RB Le’Veon Bell has finally selected the team he will be playing for in 2019 after sitting out the 2018 season due to contract disputes with the Steelers. He plans to sign with the Jets for 4 years/$52.5 million.

The biggest trade of the NFL offseason thus far has sent the NFL fan base into a frenzy. The New York Giants have traded All-Pro WR Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns. The Browns will trade S Jabrill Peppers, their 2019 1st-round draft pick (No. 17 overall), as well as their second pick in the 3rd round (No. 95 overall). Beckham will bring along his massive 5 year/$90 million contract extension with him to Cleveland.
